2022 Good For Footy Raffle Success!
Season 2022 again saw The Bombers participate in the Toyota Good For Footy raffle. The GFF initiative by Toyota is a great platform for clubs to raise much needed funds by selling tickets to win brilliant Toyota cars and plenty of other amazing prizes.
To say we smashed it as a club is an understatement. Guided by our extremely talented Sponsorship Manager Sabrina Smith, we managed to sell up a storm in tickets. Over $20,000 was raised!
As well needed, the funds will be used to improve our home ground of Waratah Oval’s drainage.
Our sales performance did not go unnoticed. Toyota chose us (among five community footy clubs nationwide), to showcase during the AFL finals series via TV promo during games on channel 7.
Waratah actually became a TV set and plenty of Bombers were cast when the promo material was filmed. Phil Davis from GWS interviewed President Tod, we were in both articles and ads in The Footy Record… and we made it to the GFF exhibit outside the MCG on AFL grand final weekend! Oh… and even The Leader wrote an article about all our efforts!
To every Bombers player and family… thank you for pitching in to help sell a record number of GFF tickets this year. The result really does speak for itself. We have a great club here at Miranda Bombers!
